Servant Riders Commitment
Servant Riders Mission
The mission of Servant Riders is to bring the love of Jesus Christ to those in the community. Our primary mission is to share the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ to the Community, Motorcycle Clubs and others in the world and to minister to their spiritual and physical needs and those of their families. We minister to the spiritual and physical needs of all those in need – prostitutes, addicts, orphans, street people, the homeless, the helpless, the bruised, the beaten, the confused, the lost, the last, and the least of society. We pray with people and we help others with fundraising through our own events and others on a case by case basis and we also distribute those funds. We visit people in the hospital, offer our help in last rides, funerals and escorts. We support other organizations, Motorcycle Clubs, Riding Clubs and we support their fundraisers. We are a very neutral organization that reaches out and offers help to others. Our members are committed Servant Riders that spend almost all of their spare time helping others with a driven, passionate purpose and caring out our mission in communities along the Wasatch front of Utah.
We serve God: Servant Riders is a Ministry organization that serves the God of the Holy Bible. We are not a Motorcycle Club or Riding Club but an outreach Ministry organization that helps others in the community.
We value family: Servant Riders is a ministry organization that supports the God-ordained structure of the basic family unit. We firmly acknowledge that the priority of the lives of married Servant Riders must first include our spouse and children and that our families are our first ministry. Servant Riders will not support any cause or movement that works to destroy the Biblically based family unit of one man and one woman united in marriage.
We are a nonprofit corporation: Servant Riders is tax exempt under IRS code 501(c)(3). Servant Riders is incorporated in the State of Utah. Servant Riders is a registered charity organization and holds the appropriate permits and business license to solicit donations. Servant Riders also reserves the right to sell products in exchange for fair market value and to charge reasonable fees to cover the expenses of special events.
Qualifications for Servant Riders for membership and commitment: Servant Riders accepts “Born Again” Christian men and women into membership, regardless of race, ethnicity, or nationality, who are 18 years old or older, who share the same ministry goals and love to serve others through commitment to the organization. Servant Riders will not wear their Back Patch into a Bar as a alcohol consumer. Servant Riders who are already patched and are found to be indulging in such behavior will no longer remain in good standing and will have their membership status revoked or placed on probation until behavior is corrected. It should also be noted that because of the nature of the Servant Riders, some professions and lifestyles contrary to the word of God could be considered to be a "conflict of interest", and membership will be not be offered in such cases. It must be understood that Servant Riders is a serious calling. Those who want to become Servant Riders must prayerfully seek God’s will and count the cost. We are financially self sustained and have no paid staff. Each prospective member will undergo an interview process with Leadership and make an initial good faith contribution of at least $100 and annually $25 Each at minimum. We have no Dues for membership however we do have overhead to keep the organization so each Servant Rider is encouraged to commit to regularly support the organization financially. Our SERVANT RIDERS Patch is a 1 piece Ministry patch with Six (6) Colors to our Patch:
1) Black: Represents Sin. 2 Corinthians 5:21 -God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God
2) White: Represents Righteousness and Purity. John 3:16 -For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Red: Represents His Blood. Romans 5:8-11 -But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we now have been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him! For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled, shall we be saved through His life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
BLUE: Represents Servanthood. Mark 10:15 -For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many
SILVER: Represents our Testimony we share with others. Psalms 66:10 -For thou, O God, has tested us; thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
GOLD: Represents our Identity in Jesus Christ. 1st Corinthians 1:18 -For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The Flag on our patch in general represents our mission to serve others as a neutral Ministry in unity. It is recommended that all members be familiar with what these colors represent are able to testify to others.
Black: Represents Sin
White: Represents Righteousness and Purity
Red: Represents His Blood
BLUE: Represents Servanthood
SILVER: Represents our Testimony we share with others
GOLD: Represents our Identity in Jesus Christ
We believe in one perfect God existing in three(3) Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the creator and ruler over heaven and earth. (Genesis 1:1; 26, Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19)
We believe the Bible is entirely true and inspired through man by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe the Holy Spirit dwells in every believer from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily. (John 14:15-18; 16:7-11, 13, Acts 1:8)
We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life preaching the gospel offering His life as a sacrifice for our sins. He was crucified on the cross for the just and the unjust, rose on the third day and ascended into heaven sitting at the right hand of God and will come again to rule and reign in power and glory. (Philippians 2:6-11, Luke 1:34-38, 1 Peter 3:18, Hebrews 2:9; 8:1, Romans 5:9, Acts 2:23-24, Matthew 26:64)
We believe all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. However, through the blood of Jesus Christ, all who believe and receive Him as savior shall be saved. (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 10:13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7)
We believe that the water baptism is a direct commandment from God for all believers as an identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12)
We believe the heart of the gospel is God’s love for humanity. No matter what they look like, where they’ve been or what they’ve done, all people are deserving of love and respect because all people are created in the image of God. (John 3:16, Genesis 1:27)
We believe our ethnic, financial standings and cultural differences should not separate us. We should celebrate our differences through Jesus, as He came to break down the barriers that divide us. (Ephesians 2:14-16) Paul says in Galatians 3:8, “There is neither Jew, nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
We believe in and value the local church; the bride of Christ for whom He died. Christians without regular church attendance are without the necessary care and accountability that we all need. It is encouraged that you have a relationship with a church (as described Eph. 2: 11-22). Our ministry is a means to an end - not an end in itself. We suggest to our Servant Rider Members that their priorities must be God, Family, Church and then the Ministry of Servant Riders.
